If connected to a charger and to the iPhone, it will charge up to 100%. One last thing, when connected to your phone and not charged (the battery pack) it will only keep the battery to a maximum of 91% in left charging for a while without using it, if used, to a maximum of 80%. If I don’t make my phone do heavy work for the day, with the battery pack, the charge will last 2 days. Overall, utterly overpriced, I got it for 80£, at that price it’s still a lot but 20% less still.
When you connect it to the phone it produces a little click that will make you think there is some part broken inside, but there isn’t, it’s normal. If you connect the charger (20+ watts) to it with your phone charging, then it will charge both prioritising the iPhone. It gets drained very quickly if used heavily, you would think this is pretty standard to say, but I mean really fast. As it does not have a very high charging power, sometimes when I use my phone doing “normal” usage, the battery percentage would drop even if connected to the battery pack. It is good mostly to keep it charged/ recharge it while you are not using it. Overall it is a very good boost to the battery. I won’t add any pictures because the ones here are already satisfactory of the product. The option was not on and my battery was at 56%.Re-checked battery widget (iOS 15.1.1), now the battery pack is recognised but marked at 0%, which is impossible as I started charging my phone when the phone was at 53%.To sum up: lovely design, I like how strong it attaches to the cover/phone, but won't work so will return and make sure I buy from the apple website.Hope this helps. I checked whether my phone battery was over 80 or 90%, as I'm aware this product stops charging to preserve phone battery if the 'Optimised Battery Charging' option is on. I took the product out the packaging, without having to peel the packaging off, which doesn't really work again with apple products.I took the battery pack off and noticed it smelled like strong glue.Charged the battery pack around 30 mins, worked fine and it was recognised by the iPhone (13, mini), it attached fine to the Megsafe cover and the phone itself.Started to charge the iPhone, all good. covers, thin plastic strip on top).The inner plastic packaging wasn't adhering as it usually does with any other apple product (see pics) - that made me start thinking it wasn't genuine.
